ROUTINE
EXAM
Dental check up the dentist will assess for any disease along with taking small x rays. A treatment plan will be provided to you and agree any work to be carried out.
X RAY OPG
Full scan to detect if there are any problems. Typically used for planning orthodontics, periodontics and wisdom teeth removal.
SCALE AND POLISH
Removal of plaque and superficial calculus (tartar).
FILLING
Repair decayed or broken tooth with a filling. White fillings come in Composite or Resin Glass Ionomer Cement (RMGIC).
EXTRACTION
If your tooth is not able to be restored, this is a suitable method and alleviating you from the issues. Simple (routine) extractions incur a lower fee than a surgical (complex) tooth removal. Sutures (stitches) may need to be fixed.
PERIODONTAL
If your teeth are loose, an X ray would reveal the source of the issue. Some people complain of bad taste and getting 'long in the tooth'. A series of deep cleaning under local anesthetic would resolve the problem. You also need to see the dentist in 3 months time for a review.
PROSTHODONTICS
ROOT CANAL
Painful tooth ache? You might need a root canal treatment! We apply local anesthetic, clean the nerves and apply a dressing to remove and clear any infections. You'll then need a root filling and perhaps a crown to encapsulate the crown. For those requiring re-root canal treatment we can treat some cases.
VENEER
Chipped, discolored teeth? Porcelain veneers can give you the bright smile you deserve. Like a crown, your teeth will be shaved by approximately 0.7mm. Measurements are taken and soon your veneers will be fitted with the strongest dental adhesive cements.
WHITE CROWN
A crown is used to repair a tooth that cannot be simply filled. The tooth is prepared under local anesthetic. Measurements are taken and soon a crown will be made to be fitted. Variations include metal ceramic, zirconia, silver and gold.
DENTAL BRIDGE
Dental bridge can close the gap of missing teeth. Like a crown, the tooth is shaved down and measurements taken. This will be fitted in due course.
PER UNIT
RESIN BONDED BRIDGE
Measurements are taken and then the bridge is cemented. As illustrated the metal 'wings' are cemented to the other teeth using dental adhesives.
DENTAL IMPLANT
A permanent solution for a missing tooth. This can take 6 months. 3D scans are taken, gums are carefully relieved and metal implants are inserted. A crown is then cemented on top.
VALPLAST DENTURE
If you have multiple missing teeth a cost effective way is to get a denture. All acrylic dentures start at €400 an the metal editions go to €900.

COSMETICS
Achieve the smile you wanted with fixed orthodontic brackets. Suitable for more complicated cases and more movements needed to align, level and finish the arch. You'll need to return every month for a new set of stiffer orthodontic wires, ligatures, chains or mini screw implants.
Wear these for 22 hours a day for 6-9 months and enjoy a great smile Used with more simple to moderate difficulty cases.
